"Rhubarb" Lamp by Tommaso Barbi
Bottega Gadda, Italy 1970s
This impressive large floor lamp with three enormous leaves was designed by Tommaso Barbi and Carlo Giorgi and manufactured by Bottega Gadda in Italy during the 1970s. The sturdy brass frame extends majestically from the base, supporting three generous, decorative leaves made of hammered brass. The handcrafted elements give the lamp a striking, sculptural design. With their warm, golden reflections, the leaves create a charming, cozy light. The "Rhubarb" lamp is a standout example of Italian Mid-Century design from the 1970s.
