Floor Lamp by Tommaso Barbi
G&G Studio e Disegno, 1970s
This impressive large floor lamp with three enormous leaves was designed by Tommaso Barbi and Carlo Giorgi and manufactured by G&G Studio e Disegno in Italy during the 1970s. The sturdy brass frame extends majestically from the base, supporting three generous, decorative leaves made of hammered brass. The handcrafted elements give the lamp a striking, sculptural design. With their warm, golden reflections, the leaves create a charming, cozy light. The "Rhubarb" lamp is a standout example of Italian Mid-Century design from the 1970s.
