'Abstracta' Shelving by Poul Cadovius

Designed by Poul Cadovius in 1958, the Abstracta Shelving System is a refined example of Scandinavian modern design. Its slender black-lacquered steel frame creates a light, architectural appearance, while the carefully composed coloured shelves and back panel introduce subtle graphic accents. Combining modular flexibility with a clean, understated aesthetic, Abstracta reflects Cadovius' vision of functional furniture reduced to its essential form. This version was produced in the early 1960s.
