Dieter Rams Freestanding Shelving System

Freestanding modular shelving system designed by Dieter Rams and made by Vitsœ, Germany in the 1960s. The steplessly height-adjustable profiles are guyed in beetween floor and ceiling and allow hanging in all four directions. Therefore thesystem can also be used in corners. This set features two large compartments that elegantly slide open upwards, two boards with two drawers each underneath and nine boards with sidewalls. All hanging elements are made of wood and metal. The boards show traces of use. The left compartment's front has one small damage in the top corner on the left hand side. The shelving system in very good condition despite its age.
